Katie will discuss Archaeology on Hilton Head Island; 5,000 Years of human history. She has been involved with various archaeological digs on Hilton Head including in Sea Pines and historic Mitchelville. They have found Native American artifacts from 5,000 years ago, and the oldest pottery ever found in North America.
Program begins at 2:00pm, socialize with friends beginning at 1:30pm.
Deep Well Pantry food items, as well as checks or cash donations will be accepted at the Plantation House Porch at the time of our event.
Food items in need include staples and non-perishable food (such as peanut butter, soup, cereal, canned goods, bottled juice, etc.).
