First-person accounts, historic photographs, and maps from 1861-1865. Presenter Natalie Harvey Hefter has been working at the Coastal Discovery Museum since the spring of 1997, first as VP of Programs, and currently as VP of Collections and Interpretation. Hefter’s Master’s thesis addressed the history of Hilton Head Island.
